One of the most frequesntly asked questions from our students is 'What should be worn to pole dancing classes?'.

Pole & Burlesque Dancing

Although we are keen to ensure students are comfortable, we suggest that the following garments are worn:

• Flexible shorts or hotpants (please note: Jeans can restrict movement)
• Flexible top (eg. Vest top, cami or T-shirt)
• Flat Dolly Shoes (bare feet are acceptable)

Students can attend the lessons in leggings or tracksuits if required.

Heels are also used occasionally although can be brought to any lesson for practice purposes. Depending on whether students would like to become professional performers, it is recommended that heels are used when practicing.

Silks & Trapeze

Tight garments are to be worn whilst doing Circus Classes to limit burning from equipment. It is vital that whatever is worn is skin tight to avoid trapping clothing. Flat pumps can be worn.

Stretching Classes

Ensure clothes are baggy and easy to move around in.
