First Aid

As a professional organisation, Pole Mission has a duty to offer the upmost in Health and Safety for each student.

Poles and aerial equipment are purchased from the leading supplier of aerial manufactures who ensure that each individual piece of equipment reaches a specific safety design.

Poles

Domes are used to eliminate any chance of the pole toppling over while in use and pressure is used to keep them upright. A pole can take up to 22 Stone in weight.

Each student is given a brief induction to the pole in their first lesson. This includes information regarding how to hold and mount the pole correctly to ensure a lower risk of injury.

Silks

Specialized rigging is used within our studio to ensure our silks are safe. The material is strong and durable with constant upkeep to ensure safe usage.

Trapeze

Specialized rigging is used within our studio to ensure our trapeze bar is safe. The bar is cleaned and checked often to ensure there are no problems.

Crash mats are supplied for all equipment.

Pole Mission also offer high quality equipment to ensure landings are smoother with specifically designed pole mats. Mats are placed around each pole to safeguard students from injury while also providing assists with posture.

The following equipment is also provided:

Personal Comment: "First Aid is a major part in each and every lesson! Pole Dancing is an extreme sport and can end in disaster. Although our instructors are trained to prevent any accidents, unfortunately they cannot be ruled out. Therefore, i have a duty to provide first aid and ensure the Instructors are aware of how to handle and report accidents. So far, we have had no major accidents."
